そろそろ今年も終わりとなります。京都先端科学大学で講義をさせていただきながら元気に過ごしております。

今年はいくつか記念すべきことがありましたので久しぶりにご報告させていただきます。一つは、進化経済学会設立30周年の記念すべき年度に学会より拙著Evolutionary Economicsにたいして進化経済学会賞を授与していただきました。

ちなみに、Mariolis教授が本格的な書評論文を投稿してくれたことも大変有り難く思っています。

来年3月に下関市で開催される進化経済学会本大会で受賞講演が予定されています。

また、別途、進化経済学会ジャーナルEvolutionary and Institutional Economics Reviewを対象に、SpringerNatureよりThe Editorial Contribution Award 2025とThe Author Service Award2025を授与されました。

しかし、中でも一番驚いたのは10月に中央大学名誉評議員を委嘱されたことです。すっかり忘れていたのですが、小生は中央大学在任中、評議員に4期（3期＋変則1年半1期）計13年半の間、選任されておりました。名誉評議員の規程は、75歳以上の年齢要件を満たしたうえで評議員通算12年以上だそうです。たまたま規程を満たしていたことからの委嘱となりましたが、過去の思い出として有り難くお受けしました。

昨年2024年12月のことですが運転免許更新で後期高齢者恒例の認知機能検査を受けさせられたのですが、テストは暗記の甲斐あって100満点でした。というわけで、現在も元気に来年公刊に向けて英文新著の執筆に励んでいます。

皆様におかれましてもぜひ良い新年をお迎えくださることを心よりお祈りしております。

Gaudeamus igitur

“De Brevitate Vitae” (Latin: “On the Shortness of Life”), more commonly known as “Gaudeamus Igitur” (“So Let Us Rejoice”) or just “Gaudeamus”, is a popular academic commercium song in many Western countries, mainly sung or performed at university graduation ceremonies.

以上、英語版フリー百科事典Wikipediaより引用。ちなみに、”commercium”とは大学のきわめてフォーマルな正餐のこと。Feastよりももっとフォーマルな宴席。ちなみにFeastはDinnerよりフォーマルな宴席である。音楽ファイルはWikipediaがシュトットガルト大学から提供を受けたもの。歌詞は時代の変遷とともに変わって世俗化された。
